Valerie K. Wright
Valerie Wright, a board certified coach and organizational development consultant with over 25 years of experience, serves as Chief Executive Officer and founder of Wright Ideas Unlimited. Valerie’s experience, trustworthiness and commitment to excellence have made her a trusted coach and business advisor.

Valerie has an established career in nonprofit and corporate sectors and is highly regarded for her skills in leadership development, coaching, facilitation, strategic planning, and performance management. She has worked in various industries including manufacturing, philanthropy, aerospace, faith-based social service, community development and health.
Valerie spent 10 years with Neighborhood House Association in San Diego, CA where she provided executive leadership in the areas of organization development, coaching, strategic planning, and grants management. She also worked for Jacobs Family foundation in San Diego as Director of Grants and Neighborhood Training; Director of Partnership for Neighborhood Initiative; Executive Director of Bethel House; and a Human Resources professional at Doctors Hospital, Lockheed Missiles and Space Company and ITT Rayonier.

Valerie is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. As an active community member, she has contributed to and served on Jackie Robinson Board of Managers, San Diego Association of Black Journalists, S.D. Birthing Project (Sister Friend, Volunteer), Bayview Charities Board of Directors, and Ms. Foundation Collaborative Fund for Women and Economic Development.

She holds a Master of Science Degree in Organization Development from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism & Public Relations from Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, FL and a Certificate in Coaching for Organizational Excellence from San Diego State University, San Diego, CA.
