Carolyn is an experienced executive who has worked in non-profit, faith-based, private and public sectors across the country. Carolyn’s finance and management experience includes manufacturing, social services, and educational arenas. She is a skilled leader in developing efficient fiscal processes and systems and has demonstrated her capabilities working with Bayview Baptist Church, The San Diego Unified School District, Bayview Charities, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office, Bayview Christian Cultural Bookstore, House of God International Ministries, and Palomar College.



Prior to joining Wright Ideas Unlimited, Carolyn spent ten years with Bayview Baptist Church in San Diego, CA where she served as COO. As COO, she had oversight for finance, human resources, information technology, facilities, maintenance, and other ministries. She was also responsible for the Bayview Christian Cultural Bookstore, an affiliated business of Bayview Church.



Industry Experience

Carolyn was an Adjunct Professor at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA.  She worked with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for over ten years serving as a Finance Professional.  Her experience includes ITT Rayonier, Terminal Paper Bag Co., South Florida Water Management District, San Diego Unified School District and Nassau County School District.



Carolyn served as Director of Christian Education in south Florida including Antioch Baptist, Imani Word Ministries and New Creation Baptist. She is a certified instructor with the Florida East Coast District Congress of Christian Education, an affiliate of the General Baptist National Convention USA, Inc. She has led the implementation of numerous youth ministries and has trained youth directors throughout the state of Florida. As a member of New Creation Baptist in West Palm Beach, she organized an evening tutorial program to serve the youth in one of the most blighted areas of the City.

Carolyn served as an ex officio member of the Bayview Church Organizational Assessment Team, Next Level Planning Team and the Bayview Charities Board of Directors. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.



Education

Carolyn has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida, a Masters in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and she has a Certificate in Coaching for Organizational Excellence from San Diego State University in San Diego, California.
