Valerie Wright took an almost defunct organization and with God’s help and divine guidance breathed life back into it. We are a faith-based non-profit institution of a significantly large San Diego based Baptist Church, which struggled with internal structure and policy issues. As a volunteer and the lead volunteer, while facing her own personal adversity, Valerie guided this non-profit in the selection of a new Executive Director and building an effective organizational redesign that fit the mission and vision. She leads based on God’s principles and her work is visibly a labor of love. We are better, as a viable organization, for the guidance provided by Valerie.
Carolyn Denese Wright is a financial genius! She approaches her work from a perspective of accuracy and adherence to financial principles under the law. She understands that today’s church is spreading the good news of Jesus Christ but also maintaining a well-oiled business management prospectus to survive in a global economy. Her goal is achieving financial perfection, while serving with modesty and humility. Denese is the reason our organization secured a very large grant from the State of California. After resubmitting a proposed budget for us, we received the grant with a note; "the State hopes the person who completed this budget would be on staff for the balance of this contract.” There is just no way you can go wrong with Denese.
